Troubleshooting
Signed in to a different LinkedIn account
What to do when LinkedIn in this browser is signed in to a different account from the one whose inbox Bokka has stored.
The home page shows A different LinkedIn account: "LinkedIn in this browser is signed in as" one account, "not" another. Bokka works with one LinkedIn account per browser profile. If you're signed in to a different one, Bokka tells you and offers to switch.
Keep the inbox you have
- On linkedin.com, in this browser, sign in to the account Bokka names as the stored one.
- Come back to the Bokka tab and press Check again.
Use the other account instead
- Open your inbox. The line above the list reads "This browser is signed in to a different LinkedIn account than the one synced here."
- Press Switch account. Bokka deletes the messages it stored for the other account from this browser, and syncs the new account's inbox.
Your plan is in use in another browser
"Your plan syncs one LinkedIn account at a time, and another one is in use in a different browser." Press Use this account to sync this one here instead; sync stops in the other browser.
Using two LinkedIn accounts
Give each LinkedIn account its own browser profile. Your plan syncs one LinkedIn account at a time.
Signed out of the app, the home page may say "Not you? Sign in to your own account on linkedin.com in this browser, then reload this page." Do that, then reload.
